"Storm" Surge Likely Spam Culprit
Storm, the Trojan horse that collects PCs into hacker-controlled botnets has become the most prolific e-mail-borne malware ever. According to a computerworld.com article, Storm is designed to propagate more copies of itself, as well as release huge quantities of spam.

Computer Pods and Classrooms Continue to use Microsoft Windows XP
The Computer Pods and Information Commons across campus will continue to use the Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system. This includes the University Downtown Center and all Multimedia classrooms with installed Windows computers.

Microsoft Windows in Pods and Multimedia Classrooms
Even though ITS now supports Microsoft Windows Vista on personal and office computers, we do not intend to convert all public labs and classroom computers to this operating system. ITS will continue to use Windows XP Professional in Pod Classrooms, multimedia classrooms, Information Commons and other public labs for all of fall semester, 2007.

Sharing and Moving Files with Word 2007
The new Microsoft Word 2007 brings with it the introduction a new file format (*.docm). Currently, this format is not automatically supported or recognized by older versions of Microsoft Word or other word processing programs. There are several options for users sharing files between Word 2007 and older versions of Word.
