A significant Blackboard patch is being installed on our test system and tested over night. If successful, the patch will be installed on our production servers early tomorrow morning.

This patch is designed to eliminate the restarts that have been plaguing us. It will also improve our data collection abilities when the events that triggered the restarts recur. The installation of the patch in production will require that Blackboard be taken down for about a half hour at 7:30 am.
