In our capacities as faculty or staff at the University, we may have access to personal or sensitive data associated with institutional databases or research studies. It is all too easy to extract data and store it on mobile devices (e.g., laptops, USB drives). It is also easy to inadvertently share sensitive data with people we shouldn’t. The University has policies about access to sensitive data.
What are best practices for accessing, storing and sharing such information in a safe and secure manner?
Bring your lunch, your questions, your comments and join us for this very important discussion.
