Microsoft recently released a security update for "Microsoft Office for Mac."

According to Microsoft:
"This update contains several improvements to enhance security and stability, including fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code."

Office 2004 users should apply the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.4 Update. (If you haven't already done so, you will need to apply January's Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.3 Update.) If you installed Microsoft AutoUpdate — when you installed Office 2004 — you can use that application to automatically download and apply the correct updates for your copy of Office as they become available.

Office v. X users who haven't done so yet should apply January's Microsoft Office v. X for Mac 10.1.9 Update.
