Binghamton University has a program in place to assist its departments in acquiring and maintaining up-to-date computer equipment. Departments can purchase Windows PCs or Apple iMacs, laptops and printers under a two year lease agreement. At the end of the two year period the department will own the equipment.

If you have any questions about the lease program or wish to place an order, please contact Stu L'Hommedieu of Information Technology Services at ext. 7-6006. The Computer Center will place orders with the vendor, install and maintain all equipment purchased under the lease agreement.

The standard price for the lease will be approximately the pricing listed below, plus a one time charge of $46 for installation of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Sample configurations are listed below. New price quotations and specifications will be provided prior to placing equipment orders.
