Electronic mailboxes on the Binghamton University mail server have a quota of 50 megabytes of disk space. This is enough space to hold hundreds of typical messages. BINGSUNS accounts have a default quota of 100 megabytes. If you use pine from your BINGSUNS account to access your mailbox, any mail that you save or that you send will be stored on BINGSUNS and, therefore, will be subject to the BINGSUNS quota. If you use a mail client on your PC or Mac to read mail, you are only limited by the space you have available on your own machine for your saved and sent mail. In either case, however, mail left on the mail server is subject to your 50 megabytes quota of your mailbox.
