Blackboard
Blackboard is web-based software that provides a powerful and easy-to-use suite of tools for instructors to build and manage virtual classrooms. Faculty members can easily build an on-line learning environment for any subject without any knowledge of HTML or any programming languages. Instructors and students can access Blackboard course sites anytime, anywhere, and from any web browser. Courses are automatically created in Blackboard each semester so there is no need to request that your course be added. If you are an instructor and you have questions about Blackboard, please send email to blackboard@binghamton.edu. The University Center for Training and Development also has documentation on using Blackboard.
